Waterbed sheets online - simple and easy

Checking into the varieties of waterbed sheets available  -  which is for you

When you're wanting to purchase waterbed sheets online , it's useful to know something about the bedding that will be right for you and your bed.   For example, there are two styles of waterbeds, the hardside bed and the soft-sided divan.   Normal bedding will fit most soft-sided beds, but for the rigid frame or hardside waterbed, manufacturers use a triangular flap which holds the lower sheet in place at the corners.   It stops the sheet from moving and slipping about on those restless nights when the tide's out.   Many manufacturers sew a flat top sheet together with a fitted or lower sheet. These are called ‘attached’ or ‘inseparable’ sheets.   They can also be joined either down one side and then partly or completely across the bottom.   This ensures easy bed-making.  These waterbed sheets are mostly custom made and can be either right or left opening.

The wide choice of sheet fabrics
The bedding material can be cotton, flannel, sateen, percale, polyester, satin, silk or even pvc. Find out the ‘thread count’  –  around the 200 threads per square inch is about right.   If you go for a higher count, the bedding is more expensive without equivalent increases in quality.   You might like to check out satin bedding  –  satin woven from 100% polyester or nylon is a durable, comfortable product.   Keep a look-out for Charmeuse satin which has a smooth feel, drapes beautifully with a great sheen.   It's also long-lasting and easy-care.   Go for a woven satin sheet as opposed to - knitted has a rough texture, more suitable for bedspreads or comforters.

Made-to-measure’ or ‘off the shelf’
You can buy ‘off the shelf’ or ‘made-to measure’ whichever you need or prefer.   Obviously there's a price difference.   For the soft-sided waterbed, ready made products should be fine, but you may want to ensure a better fit if you have a rigid-framed waterbed.   Flex-Fit sheets are available with patented corners which stretch vertically and horizontally to fit all mattresses.   They have a standard thickness up to premium thickness which is about 9” (23cm).   For other bedding  -  bedspreads, comforters, bed skirts, etc.  –  you can go to conventional bedding sites, or to a waterbed supplier which -  they usually sell the bedding as well.   You can easily check out the discounted waterbed sheet prices so easily online.
